Last week the First Literature in film Festival, which took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, came to an end. The winner of the award for Best Short was notable. Cesare Bedogne's Film is of exceptional poetic intensity.

There is a logic to that since his short film is based on a poem. Cesare Bedogné is an Italian photographer, film-maker and writer. His experimental works have been awarded at multiple international festivals.

In the case of "Photographing New York", not only urban geography is the protagonist. So are rain and sadness. Black and white photography is of an evocative texture. The lighting and framing are exquisite.
