THREE FILMS PRODUCED BY AUTISM

Because it is important to clarify that Alexander Whitlock, the Australian filmmaker, is autistic. Perhaps because he himself considers that his films are produced by this particular condition, which conditions or restricts him in some way.
"Epilepsy Experimental" is a short film of almost 2 minutes, it’s an experimental film about the different types of seizures he had and how they affect the brain as if a computer were blocked.
Alexander studied film at Edith Cowan University in Australia. His goal is to show the creativity of autistic filmmakers.
"Volleyball Dream" is a little longer, lasts 10 and a half minutes. Its plot is more complex, it’s a sports drama. A high school student wants to escape from the shadow of his older sister, but everyone doubts about her abilities. Meanwhile, he and his friend try to save their father’s life. They work as a team among themselves, trying to defend themselves from those who despise them in a world without their mother.
"Path to Death" is a 3.5-minute police drama. A serial killer robs a hotel.
What do these three stories have in common? Perhaps the fact that an autistic vision is different from the normal one. Or not.
Analyzing them is very interesting. All three were presented at a festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and became official selection.
